Made-in-Italy streetwear brand founded in 2015 by brothers Giuliano and Giordano Calza, GCDS aka God Can’t Destroy Streetwear or – some say – Giuro Che Domani Smetto (italian for I promise you by tomorrow I’m done) broke into the Milano Fashion Week even more flamboyant and powerful.
GCDS invited the hosts at the Palazzo to showcase its Fall-Winter 2019-20 collection for men and women. Again, vitamin colors and redefined streetwear looks, with enhanced fluo details, revisited dark-horror glimpses, gems and almost always present GCDS print in every piece of the collection. GCDS is out there to fight the boring, conventional ways to dress, making men wear pink and (what only were?) feminine colours, so that men are set free and women become even stronger.
The icing on the cake was brought by the Barilla capsule collection, which completely disrupted the way the Pasta brand has always been perceived, with the sparking pink overturning the classic, blue one. And news are to come, as a new capsule collection with Barilla is expected to arrive by Christmas 2019.
